At M3, we start by understanding what you want to accomplish, then build the strategy, creative direction, budget, timeline, and details needed to bring it to life. Our structured planning process creates clarity along the way, keeping everyone aligned from the first conversation through the final preparations.

It can be tempting to jump straight into venues, vendors, menus, décor, and logistics. But before deciding how something should happen, we believe you first need to understand why it’s happening—and what you want people to experience because of it.
That’s why our process begins with discovery and creative exploration. We take the time to understand your objectives, audience, priorities, and vision, then translate those ideas into a clear program concept you can see, react to, and refine. Only then do we begin building the detailed plan around it.
The result is a program where the individual pieces aren’t simply coordinated—they’re intentionally designed to work together.

Our Methodology

Every program begins with a conversation. We dig into your vision, objectives, audience, priorities, past experiences, constraints, and definition of success. The goal isn’t simply to gather information—it’s to understand what you’re really trying to accomplish.
Outcome: A shared understanding of where we’re going and why.

We translate discovery into a Creative Brief—a “thumbnail sketch” of the program that brings our initial thinking to life. High-level concepts, themes, experiences, and visual inspiration give you something tangible to react to before we begin developing the details.
Outcome: An agreed-upon creative and strategic direction.

With the direction established, we define what it will take to bring the program to life. Scope, deliverables, responsibilities, assumptions, and expectations are clearly documented and formalized through our agreement.
Outcome: A clearly defined partnership and scope of work.

Now we go deeper. A working timeline and budget are established, and each component of the program begins moving from concept to fully developed plan—from venues and vendors to guest experience, production, transportation, food and beverage, décor, communications, and everything in between.
Outcome: A comprehensive roadmap for bringing the program to life.

Programs change as decisions are made, opportunities emerge, and new information becomes available. Through regular touch-bases, we review progress, manage decisions, refine details, monitor budget and timing, and keep everyone moving in the same direction.
Outcome: Fewer surprises, informed decisions, and a program that stays true to its objectives.

As the event approaches, months of planning are consolidated into a detailed Event Playbook—the operational source of truth for the program. Depending on the event, it may include the run of show, schedules, vendor information, installations, layouts, logistics, contacts, roles and responsibilities, contingency plans, and other critical details needed to execute confidently.
Outcome: Everyone knows what’s happening, when it’s happening, and who is responsible.
